TikTool - Mobile Winbox App Reviews

This app works great. I uses it to set up a quick L2TP VPN connection and it was flawless. Three stars for the price. At this price I would expect help bubbles for input fields, better navigation, and some way to view graphs.

Im having problems using the TikTool with a MikroTik RB751U-2HnD. It discovers the device, I save it to the database with the correct login credentials, IP address and the default Winbox port 8728. IP ping the router, and it shows a green dot indicating its online, but when I try to connect to it, I get an error. "Connection error. Please check address and port" This happens with other MikroTik devices and all versions of router OS. The router OS I tried the TikTool with are: 4.15 5.16 5.25 5.6 6.0rc7 6.0rc9 Why does this happen? Can YOU please offer some assistance?

I like being able to get access to my router when out and about and dont like exposing ports. With a little vpn magic and this little app i can do anything i will ever need to do on my router and my clients routers at any given time without jumping through hoops or having to have a laptop handy or exposing ports unnecessarily. Its an oncall techs dream come true. Would be nice if the interfece were a bit more in line with that of web or winbox but even with that said, i really cant complain. Fantastic job!

Very nice way to administer RouterOS on the go. The UI could use some work, its very basic, but this is much better than using the web interface in Safari.

Great app does exactly what it says. I use it every day on my WiFi hotspot...

Have had the app for a while now and have seen many improvements come along. Keep up the good work.

The only downside is that you have to enable the API. If the API is not enabled, the tool cannot connect.

I manage a WISP and we have over 150 router boards in the field. This tool is amazing even though its buggy at times it still always works when you need it. Its totally worth the modest fee and the recent updates make it better then ever!

-Cant move or comment new firewall rules -The app crashes once in a while. -Some of the options are missing the menu, so you have to type the commands manually. - where is the terminal?

Helps me keep an eye on all the companys equipment when out of the office

A very helpful app if your day relies on Mikrotik.

i wish this app can do as the software on the pc . i can remove active users on pc and also i can remove ip binding , i can clear cash but here no . so this app needs improving

So far this is the only app that can actually change settings. They have a ton of different tik tool versions but only this one has full functionality. =

Very usfull and great

Great until you need to make a change. I tried to create a new port-forward and the app froze 5 times. Took the customers router down as the port forwards (incomplete ones) actually were making it to the router but the forward-to ports were not there (app crashes prior to input). Also tried the command line utility, but its incapable of a simple ping. Cleverly constructed and worth the price if it worked. I guess Id like the money back.

It worked for a while. I have tons of mikrotik devices. It no longer works when connected to lan even when laptop with winbox does.. Not sure why. I have tried moving the port from the one that populates by default to 8291 and it still does not work. Please fix.

App not developed by mikrotik way overpriced and does not work. Avoid this one

Much improved over previous versions. The app no longer crashes every 5 seconds! I cannot put enough emphasis on how handy and useful this tool is, now when I need my FTP I can enable firewall rule on the fly. Also VERY useful for verifying Internet connectivity when customers call. I would like to see integration with The Dude monitoring service by Mikrotik. Push notifications from a "smarter" TikTool would make this app worth twice the price. Overall, highly recommended for anyone who uses Tiks.
